It would probably make a good donor for a Teardrop trailer.
I'm currently building my third one from a donor . I'll ask if theres any one in your area that could pick it up if you like.
Is it towable ?
Dave
That sounds good, please do. Never heard of Teardrops before, looks interesting. Do you build your own bodies on old chassis',and are you a Club/Society?
You are welcome to this van if there is someone near who can collect.
It is a solid chassis as it is an old van, but good quality!
Your hobby sounds really interesting!
Anne
Cheers Anne,
Yes I've built a new bodies, and alter the old chassis.
There's a couple of on line forums, predominantly American, but we have a growing UK community over here.

This is my current build. This time I'm building it inside the caravan , and will cut it out when it's near completed. Strip the caravan back to the chassis, and mount the new body.

We're having a trailer gathering over the second bank holiday in May near Coventry ( as it's a fairly central location). We're expecting around 20 trailers, most are custom built, but some are commercially
www.tearjerkers.net is the home of the UK based club that are organising the meet.
It's quite an addictive pastime, I have plans to make one a year for the foreseeable future.....It's cool recycling
