Put some pretty stout trelliswork along top of the fence; high enough to protect the van. Then get something growing along it. This method isn't usually regarded as anti as extra height plain fencing.

If the child is in foster care, then their will be a social worker involved. I would avoid confronting the child as their could be any manner of problems in doing this as you do not know his backlground. I would first menbtion it to the neighbours and if you still get no joy, you could ask to speak to the childs social worker. As someone has mentioned, a few trees may be the simplest solution, if there is room.
No....kids are so clever these days ...he will still know its there.

I hope you get on better than I did when you talk to the neighbours. We have a field behind us, the local youngsters play on it, as they do & as we expect. However, they've grown into right thugs & the odd football coming over our wall has gone on to a golf ball hitting our kitcen window & the sealed unit is now no longer sealed. That's going to cost me a few bob.
I've tried the talking to the neighbours thing & I'm afraid not all parents feel the same. Not one of them will accept my complaints, they all say it couldn't be their child/son/thug doing it.
