Hi Richard, sorry for reply to this old post but I was just wondering how you got on with the condensation in your adria? We have w 2009 Altea 542DT which we have had since new. We noticed really bad condensation a year after getting but didn't think much of it but approx 3 years ago I notice a small soft part of the wall panelling just under the bearer for the bunk on the rear wall about the size of a fifty pence , I have all the seal checked for water ingress and all ok so putting it down to condensation. I made up spacers to keep the mattresses of the walls and the kids sleep with their heads at the front end now. I also use moisture traps at all times and always have the windows open. The soft area hasn't gotten any worse since then.

Had similar problem with our bailey it turned out to be the external access door to the underbed area the seal looked in perfect condition so i smeared it with silicon grease problem vanished and that was two years ago

This may be an old post but the underbed Service Door No 5 continues to be a problem area. Our seal was fine, it turned out to be the little white foam one on the inside that seals the door panel to the frame.

I found water in my 'wet locker' last year, no problem, it's a wet locker,.... not really. I fixed the problem and dried out the tray. What I didn't realise is that the water had slowly run down the screw threads (all 7 of them) through the lino and soaked the plywood floor. I am in the process of replacing approx 1 sq metre of the old floor, the wet locker tray is in the bin.

Condensation or not, the results of water damage over time to wooden structures can be severe.

Dave.
