Haven't you ever noticed how windy it gets on campsites? When we are planning "something" we just remind the kids that "its going to be windy tonight so don't worry if the caravan starts to rock" lol. Having a nice solid door between us and the kids does help as does leaving the bathroom door open, in effect 2 doors warning that we are about to be disturbed :)
I really don't care what anyone else might think, we are, after all, only doing what comes natural ;)
ahh, thats a nice tip, chears ashwellgirl ! Usually when the sliding partition goes its quick, so leaving the bathroom door open buys a bit more time before for all 3 of em come charging in.
corners steadies..., need to make sue they are hard down...and make best use of caravan width, side seating is good support for the others halfs legs, so the wife says anyway...
You want to e mail that lady who posted something about her awning and who said how easy the erection was............er..........I think

Yep, thats how we learnt ;) In our old 'van the partition used to stick so was hard to open (dh could very easily have fixed it but...) so that bought us some time but now the door glides open quickly so having that extra door really does come in handy and like you we have 3 kids but we still like to practice ;) lol
"....i'm new to touring....what are corner steadies for???"
Maybe that's where you are going wrong...if you have never used them!
