3ltr recycled Robinsons orange squash bottle here, they have a handy handle on the neck for stability when pouring!
A full flush tank lasts us about a week, theres only the two of us and the toilet in the van is only used for a wee in the night and first thing in the morning, we use the site facilites when out and about, and we find the manual flush loos much better at conserving flush water than the electric ones, as you can adjust the amount you need.
We once hired a boat for a week to live on, and found the electric flush loo onboard to be a real pain, it drank more of our fresh water supply than anything else onboard, and we often ran out of water in the middle of a shower or had non left for a morning cuppa, despite filling up the night before at the last boatyard, The owners were aware of this problem after recieving many complaints from fellow hirers, and had converted the sister ship to draw in raw river water for the purpose of loo flushing, its a pitty that a similar solution could not be employed with the caravan loos!.
