I once watched, gobsmacked, as a friend's wife reversed a 22 ft van through a 12ft gap in a row of vehicles and parked it in the row behind but two vehicles along, in one perfect S shaped manouvre. She got out and, seeing the look on my face, smiled sweetly, and said "don't forget Pete, I've been reversing trailers on dad's farm since I was about ten". There's a lot of truth in the old saying "Practice makes perfect".
