Glad you got home safe with your new caravan. I am sure your nerves must have been bad. I know that after our accident 4 years ago I am an awful passenger!!.Today we came back from the weekend away at Tarland and I actually relaxed a bit better, only thought about it once when we passed the spot it happened.

Hope you are able to get away for the weekend soon, were you not off this weekend being the Fife holiday weekend. Looking forward to our summer holidays now.

Hi Fife-bloke, glad you got the van OK, we would have looked out for you but where down in the borders at our van on Bruce's Cave site, had a great time and heading back down in a few days, had to come home for meds and docs etc, still gives me a chance to catch up with the mail and posts on here!

As for the pratt in the van, ignore him, one day he will run out of room and find that the ultimate price for speeding is not just a few points and a fine! (Most folks on the roads are OK with us vanners and it is seldom you get such a reaction. I have been thinking of getting an old car and matching caravan for a while, one capable of a massive 50mph should do fine! Saw a lovely old singer vogue pulling what I believe was a Castle ton when we where away, not many folks upset at seeing it in fact most slowed down to get a better look! (-;

Happy travels!

BTW having a meet at Bruces again this year, still some pitches left if you are interested, see Scottish Meets, Bruces 2010

Hi fife-bloke, just seen your post, glad you got car fixed and your van home,idiots like that are my pet hates, like useing mobiles and reading maps while driving, my solution,would be crush the phone and car preferably with them in it, do'nt know how they ever got licence in the first place, not all tubes are usefull. best of luck on trips.
