Regarding the AA and caravan tyres, I had my caravan at my brother's house for a while, but when it came to bringing it back I set off and heard a bang and PFFFFFTTTTT. Great.
Checked the nearside tyre and the tyre itself was okay, the valve had blown! I tried using a wheel brace on the nuts - no joy - so I rang the AA for help. As the caravan was hitched up to the car, they sent a patrol out to me and advised I rang around local garages to get a new suitable tyre. 1.5hrs later the patrol arrived, after a bit of struggling got the wheel off, and took me to a garage to have a new tyre put on.
Once laiden with fresh rubber & a lighter wallet, they took me back to my brother's, fitted the wheel, job done! All this done on my AA membership (I believe Roadside Assistance + Relay).
If it was a matter of doing things with the tyre of a caravan on the roadside themselves, I wouldn't specifically know without contacting them.
