The rhino sounds good to me - just to point out though, why have I never seen anyone on a site using the mover? They all seem to reverse their vans on - much to my impressivness of their accuracy!!

I fitted an ego, last year. As everyone says, movers are fab.

I go away on my own and it makes hitching up solo a breeze. Also, its assisted me on some really unfriendly pitches, where reversing on was impossible due to restricted access.

We had a Truma fitted when we bought the caravan three years ago.

Started to work intermittently after a while - turned out the control box was faulty (it took a while to convince Truma that they should replace it). Then, on holiday, a pin fell out, preventing it from engaging - a temporary fix with a screwdriver sorted it until I could get the pin replaced.

So, whilst when it works it's great, I'd be hard pressed to recommend Truma (despite their good reputation).

Looked at the Alco one at NEC and that looks pretty good - I guess this will become a standard fitment on many caravans soon.

Hi, Got Reich mover 3 years ago, Getting mover fitted was best thing i did,(for health reasons) would have had to give up caravaning without it, so in my humble opinion they are great. enjoy it.

If anyone is thinking of ordering an "MM1" motor mover from towsure, the one you will receive will be the enduro EM4444 by purpleline. and not bad value at £499.00 and a doddle to fit.

We changed our caravan a few weeks ago, 9 year old Elddis Avante, which came with Truma mover fitted. Forgot all about it till last trip out where we needed to use it to put caravan on awkward hard standing. Best thing we have got for caravan...I even hitched up car by myself when we left. As we are both "hobbit" sized and Marilyn has back trouble mover has saved the day for us. One thing make sure you have a bumper guard fitted as hitch will knock it as it swings to stop...only £15 with spacer block fitted.

mover worked fine until the Monday morning & then would only engage on one wheel, probably due to the battery being 5 years old, however I grounded it on the track outside our house & completely jiggered it on the side that didn,t work, haven,t had the quote for replacement yet! moral - check your battery & more importatly your ground clearance

We've got the Truma fitted on ours and we both love it!  Getting around to the back of our house is really hard with a 'van so the mover really does make our lives so much easier.  We've got the bolt lock thing on the wheel of the 'van and the mover makes getting the right position so easy.  We always use the mover to get it onto the pitch and even moved pitch once when i wasn't sure where the 'van was meant to go.

Be warned you will have an audience when you use a motor mover lol.  We've even had people who were driving stop to watch us lol.

We have a little 12foot 2 berth caravan. at the moment we can still manage (jus) to move by hand. However, years are catching up and health not the best so really think a mover is the next step.  Sloping drive but wide  entrance so can reverse into position down the side of the property at the moment but at least with a mover  I would be able to cope with it myself.

Hi ,you would not have said that if you saw my antics two weeks ago, trying to reverse onto pitch, nothing seamed to work inkluding my brain, after three attempts to reverse, it suddenly dawned on me i had a mover, have towed vans and trailors for thirty years and to see me then you would have thought i had never towed in my life, it was just one of those days where nothing went rite,PS, if any of you caravaners out there witnessed my antics, i apologize if you had to change you garnents with all the laughter.
