It depends on how small the van can be. There's quite a few of the small teardrop type models, for example TheBedBug LittleGuy Sleeper Tearpod The Pod Turtle Trailers and the Sleeper Ural Camper
or the Going Weekender from Red Lion Caravans They're imported from Portugal and it doesn't look as if they have one in at the moment (the Cockpit is slightly bigger but fitted) but have a look at the Going brochure that can be downloaded from that page.
If you want something slightly bigger how about The Stimson Multipod
From what you have said this might just fit your requirements
I have no idea if all of these are active websites with the products easily available but I do like looking at them so I've bookmarked quite a few over the years. Hope you might find something in there that helps.
Sorry, just reread your original post and I see you have kids to accommodate. Most of those above will be too small. The Stimson one might be OK.
If I was in the market for something like this I would grab LobeyDosser's Sprintaway for £7000. I seem to recall Wheelhome had a preowned one on their website a little while ago for a lot more than this. Because they're so rare and by all accounts so well made I suspect they will hold their value very well.

I don't know about that but it is the only British Made caravan that could give us the two 6' 6" single beds that we wanted.
Okay, it came with a whole load of other
stuff that was different and atractive to us.
See here
Oh man, Horgebost Beach - I must go back there one day, I went in a little Bedford Rascal Romahome... I'll go back there one day in my little Kip van, pretty similar - cute, two 6ft3" beds, and all the other essentials... but if I had the dosh, I'd be buying yours and selling mine like a shot, Lobey! Don't do it! Make the Grands sleep in the awning!!!!

Hi Jax365. If I had my way the Grands would be sleeping in the Porta Potti cupboard!!!!
Get 'em a pop-up Gelert tent a piece so they have their own space - and hang on to it - you'll never be able to replace it!
Hewaller, you can sometimes buy the sort of caravan I own, the Dutch Kip... It has an enormous double bed when put up. and you can still access the sink, cooker and wardrobe. No loo space, so that goes in the Movelite Awning - which also has an inner tent if you want to sleep in there instead and use the two singles inside. It wasn't too expensive as it's getting on in years - a classic in fact - but it was quite expensive getting it put right, so you need to put your glasses on when looking at them! LOL!
I think you might be happier in a trailer tent though! Roomy spacious and the kids will be ok inside.
Have just discovered the Dub Box. According to the video on the Caravan Channel you can get it unfitted (for £5500 I think he said!) I won't try to describe it - it's easier to look at the video
the video is Here on the Caravan Channel
The website for the Dub Box is www.dub-box.com but not a lot of info apart from some contact details
hi hewaller we bought a caravan and took the shower and toilet out of it which gives you a bit more room as we thought they werent essential either as you get showers and toilets on sites we havent got round to using our caravan as we found out after we bought it that me husband cant tow it as he passed his test to late and has to sit another test before he can tow.
