I didn't mean to be grumpy, just trying to point out that you really don't have spend a fortune on bedding. I bet your posh stuff will last a lot longer than ours.
I've got matress protectors and fitted sheets from Jonic for the bunks in our van, much better fit than anything else and well worth the money in my opinion (I have wriggly children who would soon have anything not fitting well off the beds!). We also have 1" memory foam toppers with fitted sheets from Rakself for our bed, they wern't cheap but the difference they have made to making up the bed every night is worth every penny. I did look for cheaper alternatives for both but couldn't find anything that would give as good result.
The rest of the bedding is from Ikea or things we already had at home so didn't cost to much.

Wow didnt expect to ruffle the feathers of so many a bit tetchy i think
I was just looking for bedding that fitted properly didnt think that was being posh.
Oh and we have used sleeping bags before but if i wanted to stay that way id be using a tent.but thanks to those who gave sensible answers has helped lots
I know what you mean about the bedding I wanted the proper stuff as well Because the bog standard stuff doesnt fit properly and I have to turn the corner of the quilt under itself to make it look a bit neater but i thought £159.00 was a bit much.
if you want the proper stuff then why shouldnt you have it because you spend a lot of dosh on the van and this is just a finishing touch.
I have searched and jonic seems to be the best place or at least i havent found a cheaper one yet so if you find one let us know.
I also didn't mean to sound grumpy. Its hard I guess sometimes to convey a joking tone in a typed message. I've just never heard of proper bedding, didn't know it existed. I'm still a newbie when it comes to tin tents u see and just being in a caravan is still all a bit posh for me!
Hi bluelewis,
I don't whether this helps, but we got a local lady to make fitted under sheets for our fixed beds. We had some twin fleecey undersheets, she cut them down to size and put elastic on etc.. We went down the road of quilts from home etc, but they were too wide and bulky for our single fixed beds, so we are back to new sleeping bags. They take up a third of the room and look tidy laid on the beds. You could get quilts and covers made to fit, there's usually someone working from home who would appreciate the work.
Ps. I will probably get shot down in flames for this reply
We can recommend the Jonic bedding too. Sure, it's not cheap but we've just bought a brand spanking new van for a fair few shillings and want it to look its best, especially as it's a fixed bed which is on display all the time. The colours match the rest of the van (sad I know, lol but it looks homely) and it all fits perfectly. The mattress protector is comfy and should help make the mattress last.
Delivery service from Jonic was excellent and the quality very good, but ultimately it's down to personal choice: if you like the look and can afford it then go for it. Sadly I think that there are very few custom bedding manufacturers out there, if only I could sew then there could be a business opportunity.

hi to you all, my husband and i are new to caravanning. we bought our old lunar 500/4 in august last year (her name is lucy she is 20 yrs old) but we do have fun in her. i got my bedding from argo's they do some really nice sheets fitted or just normal sheets, they have some nice patterned throws and they were not too expensive, but at the end of the day it is what you want. this is the first time i have been on the forum site so i cannot pass judgement on what other people think to it.hope you get sorted with your bedding. good luck with your new caravan

I knew what you meant by proper bedding you meant bedding that fitted your bed and looked nice and why not, my van inside is cream green and goldy yellow and my duvet covers co ordinate so do my towels even my tea towels lol ,might sound mad I know but I like it to look nice I didn't spend a fortune I shopped around but I wanted the van to have it's own bedding and things, so it was like really being away having different colours to my home, see told you I was mad but 'ot makes me happy and why not I say :)
