The heater I have has 2 heat settings - 1kw and 2kw. Never had to use the 2kw setting when we've been away in the tent but the extra output would be there if necessary.
Holi is very tiny - internal size is just 9' 8" x 5' 9" x 6' tall so think 1kw should be enough to keep us warm!

One tip for the wastewater is use a bucket! Found this out when I was away just before Christmas last year (actually from another thread on here somewhere!) and found it to be very useful. Once you're wastemaster is frozen, you can't empty it, whereas a bucket you can just tip upside down et voila!
Another tip I found for the aquaroll, although not for the OP, was I used my hi-vis jacket on it! It's a large motorway style one, zipped it up around the 'roll and fed the pump & pipes through an arm. Didn't freeze up under 8inches of snow at all, though does look like someone's sat on the floor by your van at a distance
Forgot to say, once you do get some snow on the roof this will aid in the insulation of your van anyway. You might just need to clear it around vents/rooflights though. Hope that helps
Could I suggest wrapping a domestic water tank jacket and bungee cord round aquaroll and fixing a section of pipe lagging around pump pipe to inlet.
Tried this in February when pitched at Rutland and had blizzard on arrival plus cold few nights and it worked a treat. Plus the jackets come in 3 pieces and can be used as padding in the locker to stop items moving about and only cost £8 at most diy stores !!!!!
Hope this is of use and happy winter caravanning!!!!
As long as you have water heat and cooking facilities you will be sorted. I sometimes prefer being in the van in winter cold crisp mornings out walking with the dog cold nights snuggled up its fab you will love it!!
