Hi guys....
Well, what a day!
Set off this morning at 10am. The rain was some of the worst ive ever driven in, and ive done my fair share of travel! It had rained through the night and non stop for the whole drive north. Got to where i was viewing the van...and it went off! Good start
Now your always taking a gamble in this type of situation, as in taking the seller by their word and hoping they are genuine and have told the truth about the condition of what ever it is their selling, and i have to say this guy was a "good en". The Provence was in stunning condition in fact it looked brand new! He said they had hardly used it and that was obvious to see.
I had let most of my accessories go when i sold my old van but there was far more stuff thrown in than what he had told me, in fact just about everything i need!
I have viewed 4 of these vans at dealers, all series6 2007, and they were no where near as good as this one.
Most dealers were asking £11000 wiling to drop to 10.5
This guy wanted £9.5 and i got him down to £8750!
Its now back home and we are looking forward to our first trip out..the school hols approaching.
Its good to see that private deals can work out ok and there are genuine good sellers out there.
Thanks for everyones help. Im sure il be back with more questions
Regards Graham.
