Perhaps they've milked the industry a little too hard & people have had enough. We won't get upset if we don't go to another NEC caravan show. It may wake them up a bit & make them change their attitude towards NEC visitors if they have a quiet show.

We went today too and I thought it was the busiest I've ever seen it, there were quite a few vans that we didnt bother going in because of the amount of ppl in them and the Towsure & Fiamma stalls were gridlocked, we're going to go on a weekday next time.
Didn't see anything we'd swap ours for again, they are all so "samey" now, still a fab day out though.
We went on Thursday, and found it VERY quiet indeed. Nice for us to be able to walk round comfortably. But as someone else mentioned, we also parked on the disabled car park, entered by hall 9, which was all motor homes, we then had a long walk before we reached the caravans. OH was worn out by the time we got there. On the whole we thought it was a very good show. Would have been better if they had thought out the disabled parking a little better.
------------- It's not what you take when you leave this world behind, it's what you leave behind when you're gone
We parked on the disabled today which was meant to be Hall 16 but it was full so we parked outside hall 17, it was very near an entrance but we'd booked a wheelchair which was a long walk to another entrance which seemed odd.
I loved the Roma vans, nice to see something different, especially the red worktops & sparkly ceiling, very glam.
we parked in the disabled area right opposite the entrance that was excellent, was almost swayed by an eldiss van, however he wanted to buy the show caravan and not take delivery till after all the shows next march, but still wanted £16.999, thats more than the list price !! that was Glossop caravans, glad we didnt sign and did some internet checking when we got home.
------------- wishing everyone,,,,what you would wish for yourselves x
Just returned from NEC and found it to be a big disappointment- a lot of the stalls have gone. I was hoping to come away with a folding bike but came away empty handed. In fact I usually come away with bags bulging with bargains but today- nothing!
went friday it was Very quiet, parked in Hall 16 disabled no trouble almost bought a new swift but Jenny stopped me still always next year ,No show in Feb at the NEC it's moved to the Excel centre in London so won't be going.
HI MY HUSBAND DAUGHTER SON-IN-LAW AND MYSE WENT ON FRIDAY 15th, AS LIKE MANY OF YOU HAVE SAID HOW QUIET IT WAS IT WAS THE SAME FOR US. I MUST ADMIT IT WAS THE FIRST TIMEWE HAD BEEN TO THE OCT SHOW MY DAUGHTER AND I WENT TO THE FEBRUARY SHOW IT WAS VERY BUSY AND I THINK ALOT MORE TO SEE THAN THE OCTOBER SHOW. WE DID LIKE THE NEW LUNAR CLUBMAN SE ( WE HAVE AT THE MOMENT HAVE GOT A LUNER 500/4 SHE IS 20YRS OLD) THE LAYOUT WEAS JUST WHAT WE WAS LOOKING FOR AND ALSO THE CANWELL CARAVAN STAND THERE CARAVAN WAS BASED ON THE SWIFT CHRASSIMA WHICH WE ALSO LIKE. CONCERNING THE DISABLED PARKING WHICH WE USED ( for myself) I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD THING WITH IT BEEN UNDERCOVER WHICH ON PAST VISITS TO THE NEC IT IS A FIRST FOR IT TO BE UNDERCOVER. AND I THOUGHT THE WALK FROM THE CAR PARK WAS NEARER THAN HAVING TO WALK FROM THE CAR PARK TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE.. WWE WILL WE GOING TO THE FEB SHOW.
