For example,the Garmin camper satnav accepts a wireless camera that can be slipped over the number plate.

As someone else mentioned, if you are handy there are always second hand movers, and fitting isn't difficult if you are mobile enough to get under the van.

There was no way we would have been able to get the caravan onto the drive at home without the mover, as its a bit of a tight space on a fairly busy road.

If money is a problem, you really don't need it.  Just think what people did before motor movers existed. I've managaed very well without for over 40 years.

I can hardly walk these days, but we don't move the caravan a single inch by hand.  That's what the tow car is for.

If reversing is a problem, just get some practice.  It's not that hard.
