Jeff, Please, please, please let's not get into this again Ok you like the stuff, but let's not ram it down everyone's throat, again
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I always used Meguiars stuff (still do on the car) and Autoglym before that but I tried GL 3 weeks ago and was really amazed how good it is, however I did wash the caravan before I polished it as I am still sceptical it will not scratch.

You obviously don't know a thing about cleaning cars/caravans safely to recommend a product like that as i believe its a dry clean spray. These type of dry cleans will scratch your van as the dirty particles of grit that form the dirt on your van will be scratched into the paintwork. Its the equivlent to dipping your wash mit in some soil then going at your paintwork. Foolish. A dirty car/caravan should always be Rinsed with water first, then washed away with pleanty of water and shampoo to avoid scratching. Even if a hosepipe is not possible, use your containers and wash and rinse with as much water as poss. DO NOT DRY CLEAN Autoglym SR Polish is brill for bringing the brilliant white shine back to your caravan, then a coat of Autoglym HD Wax which is a Carnuba hard wax will leave a coat of protection for your caravan which will last all summer. An all in one just wont do the job as good or have the same protection. Restoring paintwork on cars with machine polishes and cutting compounds/polishes has been a little hobby of mine over the years and one thing i know for a fact is Autoglym have some of the best products in the industry.
I can assure you that showroom shine does not,and will not scratch anything. Its used by mercedes benz.I have converted one of the most respected people on this site to this stuff and as for not knowing anything about polishing cars i can also assure you i have used everything that you can mention and polished more cars than you have had hot dinners..PS showroom shine contains carnuba wax.I am a panelbeater spray painter to trade.
I fully concur with the use of Showroom shine, its superb!!!
I challenge the poster saying it will scratch your car/van to find the scratches on my outfit! Carnuba wax is a constituant part of showroom shine as previously said.
If showroom shine does not scratch then where does the dirt and grit go.
I hope everyone is using a microfibre cloth as possibly this is the thing that is stopping the scratches. I would never use dry product on a dirty van though I would on a clean one.
last week we used 1 Dry Wash on our van for the first time...it really is amazing. Our Avondale is 11 years old and it looks amazing, the "wax" within it works a real treat as the rain last night just beaded on the van. it really takes little effort. We bought it on recommendation from a family member who used it on his motorhome and again was really impressed. it all boils down to personal preference in the end.

I use Fenwicks then AG Ultra Deep Shine.
With the fear of being told to button it.The dirt as they say in the ad is encapsulated, that is to the layman surrounded by the wax and whatever else they put in it..ok not another word.
Showroom shine on the cars and the van. I was worried about scratching at first so tried it out on wife`s older car first. If the car or the van is very dirty then I will give it a wet wash
