It's lovely :) don't get me wrong I like my new ( not new but new to me) but I still miss my first van a 22 year old Bailey , it had so much more character.
I think it looks awesome ;D I have van envy!!!
We had a camping, unserviced pitch reserved at Trevayne Farm, Pembrokeshire. Sadly when I told them we wanted to switch to a serviced pitch for a caravan, they had no room as it is BH. Damn.
So now looking for another place, but this site was ideal as it is atop Monkstone Beach, near to Saundersfoot and Tenby, has great walking and fishing... I'm really quite fed up about it. Never mind. Something will turn up.

We're going to Pembrey Country Park towards the end of June, it's a Caravan Club site though so you would need to join but we love it there right on the edge of the park and a nice stroll through to the beach, Go Ape and Riding stables on the park etc
Just jumping threads but on another you did ask if there was anything you needed to tow the van home.
I note that the advert for the van indicates that the “hitch safety chain clip needs replacing” . I take it that this is a reference to the break away cable. If that is the case then, by law, all caravans manufactured after 1982 must have a breakaway cable and its use is mandatory. So you will need to have one fitted before you take the van on to the road.

Phil, I think it is referring to the clip, not the cable. I have got a box full of s/s fasteners, P Clips, cotter pins, split pins etc., so will make sure the break away cable is secure before towing.

Just a thought that for the sake of a few quid why not just fit a new cable as they manufactured to a British Standard

new cable and clip is important as the correct cable and clip design is such that the cable and clip initially pulls on the brake and then the clip gives way and opens up to release it.cost only £4.

Ah the joy of spend spend spend when you get a caravan!!!!
Take a can of duckhams with you. As the van has not moved for two years the corner steadies may be a bit stiff.

I have a Wynns aerosol that is superb, but also have an old clicker can full of EP90 for oiling duties! Will be under the thing all weekend doing a brake check, cable check, undersealing it, painting it, greasing and so on.
Cannot blimmin wait!
