Sorry to hi jack the thread, but where do people find is the best place to sell a caravan?
Our 2008 Bailey Ranger 460/4 hardly gets used so we're thinking of selling up for good. Is it best to sell with everything included ( powertouch mover, battery, water & waste, gas bottles, full & porch awnings etc etc ) or sell them bits separately?

Thanks

Pre loved, here, eBay , if you are 100% sure you are giving up completely then sell it as a whole, but if you think you may go back, it seems the general consensus is hold on to stuff, ive decided to hold on to the essentials, as if they are not first time buyers of mine they probably will have their own equipment .

Difficult to tell from the photos, but I would tend to favour the Bailey Pageant Champagne.  Generally I prefer the layout of the washroom.  The shower is larger and the toilet itself seems to have more room around it.  This was an issue in one of the vans we had, when I couldn't comfortably sit on the loo   - this was a central/side washroom though.  Just my opinion.  I forget to compare the prices, by the way.

Yes I agree David, I need a loo with leg room, I'm a tallie and in my last van I had I nearly had to poke them out the door , a good sized bathroom is a must for us.
I'm favouring the champagne myself

Sorry if this upsets a few people,We have just purchased a Abbey 2000 with motor mover and awning, just about everything we need to go,we don't need to buy anything,I watched a lot of caravans for weeks e/bay !!!! well i would not look at a van without a mover or awning the other stuff i was not realy bothered about as you can pick these up cheap.I consider we had a bargain paid £3500.The van is in fab condition,I can only say that we had so many pennies to spend people will only buy if that is what they realy want. While we were on way to view our van we spotted a water butt with handle £20 so picked it up on the way back so we have got 2 now.Showers should not be a problem hehehe.

We had a similar layout with out last but one van -  an Abbey Cachet.  Lots of leg room and (I know it's considered old fashioned now, but) a bench-type loo - very roomy.  You need a visit to a few dealers - you know you want to!!

I have only ever once sold my caravan with everything in it when I thought I was stopping for good. All other times I have  taken everything out.

When we sold 'Agrid, we included the awning (would never include annexes again after selling them with Ethelburt ), we removed the motor mover and made it plain in the ad that it wouldn't be sold with the van, had a black waste from another outfit which we included and also melamine plates/bowls/cups and spare knives/forks/spoons and saucepans, in fact everything we had spare went in it. It took less than 15mins to sell!
