I've sold some things on ebay recently, bikes & cycling related items.
The cons are the fees charged by ebay and because I hadn't set a reserve, 2 of the items sold for about £10 each less than I had hoped, but.
The pros are I didn't have to wait for phone calls from people responding or not to adverts, only for them not to turn up or offer amounts ridiculously below the advertised price. The price is fixed when the auction ends and there are no arguements about the price, and 3 of the items I sold collectively sold for about £60 more than I expected.
