Greetings,
We have the same, however, opposite the split that runs the length of the foam I have cut half way through it at about 1" (2.5cms)and once on the rail this gives each hanger a slot to sit in.
Result, no more fallen clothes.

It's funny, over the years I have had caravans where the clothes fall everytime and other caravans where the clothes never ever fall. I suppose its due to suspension and where the wardrobe is. My current van has a 'net wire' (the plastic covered spring type) the same length as the pole and screwed to either end of the pole. When travelling the hanger goes in between the wire and the pole. Works a treat. Not sure if this is a standard thing in a lunar or if the previous owner did it.
The final and absolute solution to falling hangers is --as one previous answer said, get a length of pipe lagging to fit the length of your rail, then cut slits in the top after fitting onto the rail. Then push each coat hanger into a slit. BINGO!!!
Must admit we've never had it happen in any of our 3 vans but it's happened every time in my parents 3 vans!
They tried the pipe lagging but it didnt work for them so now they just roll up a towel and wedge it between the rail & the top of the wardrobe & problem solved.
I have a better idea, become a naturist...voila!! No clothes needed no hangers required and reduces the weight of the van too

The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
Just a thought what about that black stuff rubbery with little holes you buy on a roll i think it is used on the dash boards on cars or under key pad boards. You could just wrap it over the rail.

The putting each hanger in the opposite direction seems to work.
Works for us too most of the time. Did hit the ferry ramp a bit hard 3 weeks ago and they did fall of then because the complete rail jumped out of the holders
