A friend uses the BP Lite bottles throughout the year (even mid winter) and having looked they are Propane not Butane. His main issue when switching was getting the high pressure cylinder connectors - he already had the bulkhead regulator.

Whoops so they are! I could have sworn I read on the BP website that they were butane but I just checked and they say propane so I stand corrected.

We went to swap a 7kg butane for a calorlite about 4 weeks ago, when I asked the guy in the Calor shop said they had been instructed by Calor not to swap any bottles unless like for like, when I said that they still had it on their website that we could swap for a Calorlite and that they hadn't changed it he swapped it for us. I was prepared to load the page if need be!

got the bottle exchanged today 7kg butane for a 6 kg propane,at lye Caravans and were told when the 6kg is empty no problem exchanging it for a calor lite,great friendly service no hassle ,and because of that i will use this dealer for any parts and accesories i may need in the future.
