I will risk getting shot at here, Playing devils advocate... the original post didnt say the issues were connected, however I had to read it twice before I understood that. Because the second statement was in the same paragraph, the two statements were unintentionaly connected.
People DO tow much too fast, and that car and van MAY have gone too fast or not. We will probably never know.
The one statement we ALL agree on is "we hope everyone is ok"
This isnt a dig at anyone but I can understand how the original post may have been understood.
Thats why I nearly always read a statement 2 or 3 times if it upsets or offends me. so that I dont make a snap judgement.
------------- Never look down at anybody....
.....unless to offer a hand, to help them up

blimey people whats going on here...Im sure there is no reason to reply to a perfectly non offensive post with such vehemency, i mean really, are we adults or hormonal teenagers here??? The original poster didnt say that the caravan in a ditch on the M6 was because of speed...she then went on to say that she had been overtaken by caravans towed at speed, two seperate comments in one post. For what its worth Ive been surprised how gung -ho caravans are being towed so far this summer, we were overtaken by a couple towing one and doing over 70 on the m1. I get enough sarcy comments and gobbing off at home by my teenage daughter...dont really need to read it on here as well!!
