According to the instructions on mine, if the mover isn't operated for a period (I think it's 10 minutes) then it switches off and to reset it you have to operate the isolator switch. So if no isolator switch is fitted you may have a problem depending on the make.

Likewise, our Powertouch shuts down on it's own if I forget to switch off (not unknown). so does the remote............Mick
