Lots of things you can do if keeping in the awning including well covered cages/kennels and heaters if on ehu. We find in bad weather that we still keep the dogs in the awning by day, especially after a wet walkies however they sleep inside in their baskets at night. that way they are only coming in when fairly dry and sleepy. Anything less than bad weather then they stay in the awning.
We have just bought new beds/soft crates for them that are great for camping.

Folds flat, fairly cheap and is easy to transport. You cant tell on this photo but the bed/crate is huge as the dog we have in there is a rottie cross and quite big! I can sit upright in there with my legs fully stretched out and small children could sleep in there lol.
It is also soft enough to squeeze into smaller spaces in your caravan too and can be zipped up to contain hair, or use in the awning with light weight fleeces flung over the top too for extra warmth. Your two would easily fit in there together and may also fit in the next size down togther too.
the same place we got this from also does a really cheap budget version that may not be warm enough for the awning but would be great for using inside the caravan to keep the hairs and mud enclosed. You could even leave doors open for dogs not crate trained. Comes in different sizes.
