I get everything ready by the front door and oh fills the car, only really major thing I've forgotten to take was jammies for me, chilly!
We keep ours in storage and we've had more problems with, what have we left in the caravan...school uniforms, chargers, bag of food, dog food and tonight have realised we've left eldest daughters wellies up there. Which wouldn't be a problem, if she wasn't going on an all day Geography trip up Falkland Hill in the morning!! Grrr.

The only thing we need to pack is our own personal stuff.  The awning, groundsheet and if we take it, the awning fridge travels in the car, so I sort that.  Everything else is in the van at the start of the season until we decide thats the end until another year - I make sure of that with my detailed organised lists.  When we come back from a trip, things like towels, bedding etc is washed and goes straight back in for next time.  We came back from summer hols at the end of August.  The van is now all ready for our next trip in October.  All we need to do is to take our personal item/clothes over - we all take responsibility for our own.  We may take a tiny bit of food and drink, but we generally
go shopping as soon as we arrive on site.  OH sorts out this bit of food.

We btw pack our own personal things (hubby takes far too many clothes and I can't predict what e wants) and I lad up the fridge and fresh food. Then off we go. Get bits and pieces at the supermarket while we are away

Being a mechanic, he checks the vehicle(s) are in order.  Being a fussy, control-freak, I do all the rest!!

He does sort out his own medication and, bless him, he's my knight in shining armour when I forget something essential....like, THE STOVE last time we went away.  Yikes!   It was late evening before we realised and I need tea almost coursing through my veins to be human, so had he not found an all night Asda to buy a suitcase stove, I don't think I'd have survived the first night.  We'd had computer problems so I hadn't been able to print off the all-important check list.

I always make sure we have a couple of days food with us, for two reasons.  Firstly, I hate shopping and dont want to waste holiday time food shopping (Im not including farm shops/markets here, I like poking about them!) and secondly we were once delayed by a traffic accident one weekend, having planned to set up and then pop to the chippy down the road when we got there.  By the time we did actually arrive, everything was closed!   I wont make that mistake again.

Hi all, Just got back after posting my question and the only thing I forgot was the halogen heater for the awning. It didn't go down well as it was too cold in the awning at night to quietly chill out.

Won't forget heater next month when we go away, OH won't ever let me live it down
