If it is the microswitch, opening the kitcheb tap fully and just cracking the bathroom tap a little should cause the water to run from the kitchen tap if the bathroom tap is not open enough to open the tap, but just enough to start the pump running.

caravan care over winter.drain all water from sytems,put plugs in sinks.drain toilet flush.remove toilet pan.remove all beding seating covers indoors if possible.put down salt trays to absorb damp.remove shower head.cover water heater with bankets,or bubble rap. bubble rap all taps.jack up wheels place on axel jacks.this will keep the air in your tyres.use w d 40 lubriant on outside of van eg steadys.hand brake cable etc.release handbrake and chock up wheels.cover wheels and A frame with plastic bags and ducktape.cover caravan with breathable cover.

 A LOT TO DO BUT WORTH IT IN THE END.
