AlsonMC I am back from my break today and i if I get a chance I will have a word with the manufacturers and see if rune caster is correct. I know for a fact we buy the wallboards as vinyl faced, I think we buy 3 and 12mm in several patterns this is the stuff used on caravans. If you care to have a look at the website, in fact some of the photographs I believe I took of our units. http://www.yorkshireplywood.co.uk all will be revealed.

Today I spoke to Excell Laminates (Mark) and explained your predicament he said that the Vinyl is attached to the ply using a roller under heat and pressure (basic details). However he said that they have rolls of various vinyl and could match to your offending damaged piece. It could be adhered by pulling off the damaged area and re adhering. So despite what has ben said this can be done.

Thanks for confirming. The piece that I had a play with at Magnums:
It just peeled off like stripping wallpaper. Should just paste back on..
Thanks everyone for your help. I've just got to decide if I'm brave enough to strip the wall. I made a pigs ear of it when I did it at home. Although after being away this last weekend the burn mark just kept screaming at me so I think I will have to do something with it soon. Thanks again
