Emma, I can see his point as you do have a habit of selling . Are you going to the NEC?
we were going to go today but decided as we've just ordered a brand new van theres not much point. We are after an awning and I know I'd have given into temptation and bought one at the show. Just going to keep an eye out on here, ebay and the likes.
We want one, but don't want to get a heavy one, I don't want to have to swap car for something expensive on fuel. Can't win really! OH said he doesn't want to do France in the tent next year
we struggled to find a light enough van that had the layout we want after realising the fixed bed layout didnt work for us. We've gone for a lunar quasar 525 twin dinette layout. Loads of vans too heavy for us, only Bailey we can tow is the Orion and we felt they're just too small without the storage space we need. All the swifts and sterling except the samll fixed beds are too heavy.
In the end our choice came down to the Orion, Lunar Quasar, Elddis Xplore (nice vans especially the dealer specials) and the Sprites which we found too basic and the second bed only has thin cushions. Good luck with your search.
Thanks chuck those are the vans we have been looking at, also the Adria's. Will have a proper look tomorrow at the show, better not take any cards with me this time! Lol
oh yes forgot about the Adrias, we like the layouts and the weights but the two 6 berth models are too long for our drive and the two 4 berths a big too snug with two teens and the front seating we didnt find comfy either (we are very fussy )
Think you might benifit from doing B&E test to allow you to tow a heavier van
------------- If you Don't ask, you Don't get..............

Yeah, I'll second that. Spend £400 on a 2-day intensive B+E course and test, and use the rest of the cash to buy any size Caravan, including heavyweight twin axles!
At that price point (£1500) it'll be hard enough to find a dry Caravan of any size, let alone a dry and light one.
