hi cwds 56768. looks like you will be waiting a very long time to fly that flag the way your team playing in the lower division.
I'm patient. I have lived long enough to know that what goes around comes around in football. Even seen Man Utd relegated. The only question is...will I live long enough!!!

------------- If you're not on a fell your wasting your feet and for 2014 it's.......Feb Castleton Mar North Yors Moors; Apr Sutton on Sea; May Thirsk; Jun Clapham/Riverside (Lakes); July Wharfedale; August Crakehall; Sept Knaresborough; Oct Wirral Park/Clitheroe
if i see a lot of other flags flying , then i put my St Georges cross up , it also gives a good indication of which way the wind is blowing , but it comes down at night or when i am out
Everyone has the right to be happy as long as we remember others at the same time before ourselves.
Good idea to take it down at night,as many of you do as the winds do tend to make you alert, wake you up at times or even keep you awake.Who wants to haul themselves out of bed to pull the lot down whilst the wind is whipping around your jammies or nightie...not I.
Some of those windbreaks can be a nightmare with their flapping to & fro they cause a cracking whip effect as they go to & fro.You lay there wondering what on earth the sound is, then it dawns on you....up you get cause your being kept awake by your own windbreak.
We saw some smashing units on this last holiday of the season.Sept-middle of Oct. lights; those blue chasing light around the caravans or specially put up for tents doing the same things.
Would it be dangerous for tents or awnings to put lights up around the canvas part incase of fire. You hear every year of xmas trees catching fire because of the shorting out of the lights. Just as thought, would not like to see/hear of anyone that has had to go through it.All plugs out at night maybe the best thing to do.Like seeing them though. Especially as someone put theirs up the small tree next to their unit as well.

I always fly an appropriate flag. I have a large collection of different ones and have, on the odd occasion, custom made one to suit a specific occasion.

we flew a fish , and the campsite kids love it , and I think thats the beauty of them , kids love them and why not if you are on a family campsite ... flags do may noise with wind and dont we all as families make our own noises : telling the kids to behave , laughing etc ... We should all be considerate ....and respectable but we should have fun and remember this is about being outdoors talking with your neighbours because we cant do that at home anymore ;; we are a community !
We fly the county flag for Staffordshire - it has the Staffordshire knot on it. Apparently the knot was designed so that 3 scoundrels could be hung at the same time - Mr Chile likes to cause controversy by naming the 3 scoundrels he would like to hang!
