I'm dreading one of the rear bulbs going on the back of my van. No idea how to get the lens off. I get the impression you have to get a screw driver underneath and prise. Now anyone who knows me would know that the result of this exercise would have inevitable consequences. Something will end up by being broken or scratched.

maybe this could be the start of another club,  'the cak-handed club', i'm just the same as you DSB, if theres a wrong way to do odd jobs i'll find it 24></p

my OH  hates it when she see's the tool box come out, she knows somethings gunna end up costing us money 24></p

Never forget the time I was in Kingston-upon-Thames. Police pulled me up because on of my bulbs had gone on the back of the car. I said I would change it. Bulb stuck in the holder - it eventually broke and cut my finger - couldn't stop it bleeding. Policeman raided his first aid box to try to stop it. Police tailed me to a car park (actually the hospital) where parking was safer. Ended up by ringing the Green Flag. Police said, 'OMG, wished we'd never pulled you up now'.
