Does it have to be Abbey or is it just the layout you're after? I only ask because they are part of the Swift Group so Swift and Sterling each have a version of the same layout, which would widen your search.
Thank you to everyone for their advice and suggestions. We have now bought and taken delivery of the van that we fell in love with from the start. Its a 2009 Abbey Vogue 2 650 and its in mint condition, like new. Its a real credit to the previous owners. We also bought an Isabella Ambassador awning to go with it.
Although we spent more than initially intended we are really, really happy with it and cant wait to get started and have our first trip away.
Now the real learning (and fun!) starts...like how to get started once we arrive on site. We haven't got a clue!

Congratulations Im glad you got sorted - very nice set up you will have there! I remember our first trip in 2010 - I think we filled the site skip with all our brand new gear boxes!! Just make sure you allow loads of time to set up and especially to get the awning up - we gave up in the end first time and put it up the next morning instead - its much easier and quicker after the first attempt.
Have fun with your new van. We collect ours a week on tuesday and I have a garage full of stuff we removed from our folding camper waiting to be organised in the van. Very excited, going away the day after we collect it.
Congratulations on the new van, exciting times! Dh went on the c&cc towing course today and even though he has towed our tt before, he thought it was very worthwhile.
