I love your caravan Angel ! I do think you are very creative, I'd love to have the courage to do a make over in my van but think for now I'll settle for new curtains ... I'm also working on a crochet throw but think that will take me a lot longer to finish !!!
I'm am very sorry to hear you suffer with your health & hope that the better weather will help you feel much better.
Keep up the good work & please keep posting your photos I always love looking at them :)
Welcome back,so sorry to hear you haven't been well and hope you are fully recovered soon. Your van looks lovely. We too have missed your posts and pictures and hope you can look forward to getting out in the van this season
------------- Why have kids when you can have a dog?
Thanks everyone for there nice comments on candy. Iv never been a White and cream person and when we got her I could not see why a caravan had to be like that. My sisters just starting a make over on her new to her van after the repairs are finished. It's a tiny 10ft four berth so sweet 1980 same ages as ours and one of her frends is looking for an old van to do up so looks like there's going to be even more personalised caravans about. I know there will always be some who hate them but these old vans are getting a second life and giving lots of fun. Even if I can get away I still enjoy sitting in her haveing a brew. As as candy will be rehomed probably at the end of the year I already have a big Ikea bag full of fabrics and bits for the next caravan lol
More power to your elbow. Keep up the good work. It is much better to be an individual than settling for what most others like. As yet I haven't made new curtains for the van but did for the awning. But I do have patchwork quilts for chilly evenings.
Hope you continue to feel much better soon. x
------------- Don't know where I'm going but will be happy when I get there.
I completely agree about giving old vans a new lease of life, we have just got a 1980 2 berth compass, its in great condition, but the interior was a little old fashioned for our tastes, and I have decided to freshen it up with new curtains and floor
Mind you, I have just painted our home bedroom bright aqua, to get the tickle out of my colour pallette before I start on the van hehe!
I think we should have an interior style section on here....

------------- I'm a Fan of most things mobile, including the parents
The seats are Hafe covered them like fitted sheets with elastic in the corners just so they can be taken of quickly by me to wash when the dog muddy paws get on them. If I had to remove full covers I would have to get help so I tend to make thing easer for me to deal with on my own. I can usually find solutions to my MOT failure of a body lol. The next vans going to have to be fitted with more additions to help me.
Is the cushion knitted? if so is it a pattern that you have created? The inside of my van is beige and characterless at the moment, that cushion is giving me some inspiration to get my knitting needles out.
Hope you get well enough to take your van on a trip.
Yes all the cusions are knitted the car and caravans are my own pattern. I knitted the tea Cosy and egg Cosy and I crochet the throw aswell. You could allways wallpaper we did to get rid of the beige Walls my sisters painting hers
