We used e tyres - good as they come to you - prices keen and fitters seemed to understand caravans/FC's etc

Keeping tyres properly inflated and checked is probably more key day to day as such

Another vote for eTyres from me. Came to my storage site and seemed to know what they were talking about. My particular fitter recommended changing tyres at the 5 year point as too many factors involved in ascertaining if tyres are still viable or not i.e kerbing, storage, regular under/over inflation, exposure to UV etc etc. Got to be worth at least considering when you think about the potential damage caused to the floor and wheel arch of the Caravan if you suffer a blow-out (not to mention yours and your families safety!!)

We were having a mooch around a dealer near kirkham last year when a breakdown truck brought a caravan in that now sported a 4 foot, ragged wheel arch and you could see the inside of the van.
Tyre had blown and ripped the side out of the van.
What a mess.
The folk must have had good insurance because the dealer wheeled a caravan out for them which they loaded up and carried on with their holiday.
Best check my tyres now.
