Can i digress slightly from the topic and ask if spare tyres can be different than those on the van? Our new to us van has a different size spare and the dealer has said this is quite common in the way that some cars have smaller tyres to save space and are only meant to get you to the nearest tyre place in the event they have to be used. Is the dealer right???

your dealer is talking rubbish,if the tyre is smaller the caravan will sway all over the place.a car has 4 wheels.
