Hi Phil, Thanks for that, had an idea that the caravan owner may have to be a creditor of the storage company and the wording of agreement would have to reflect that. Having to Register with Company House, I would not have given that a second thought as I thought it may automatically be done through the storage company,(something to keep in mind),I found your post interesting and informative, and I have taken the liberty to copy it, I hope you do not mind me doing so. With all the implications, the OP may be better to go the easy route.

The obligation to register is left with the creditor. After all why would the storage company register a liability when, by not doing, they can avoid that debt.
This issue shows just how doing the simplest of things, which appear so sensible, can leave us in a very different legal situation to the one we think we are in. What happens outside of the lawyers world is that nine times out of ten doing things incorrectly, still works out fine. However, that gives us a false sense of security. It can lead to folk never thinking through the implications of what they are doing. It's only when the wheel drops off that we learn.

Hello there everyone .
I have had a good old read of your comments , thank you all.
My little bit of trouble has been repaired. The place responsible was an actual site ,who provides storage as well as a pitch .
I think they are still working in the dark ages .However, they have kept their word(took a while) & funded a repair carried out by a "Reputable Repairer" . You know the type, a man with a van & a load of business cards with caravan pictures on them .
I must admit , I was getting rather annoyed with the situation. The repair seems ok. I am capable of doing the repair myself , but why should I ,when they caused the damage? There are still a few loose ends to tie up yet , but the main part seems to be sorted out .

Does this mean that we have to wait for part two...you know ...where it gos wrong and you are trying to sort out who owes who what..Hope, if you have any warranty this repair will not adversely affect that.
