If you look on the website you will see 3 fittings, mine is the pistol type.Watch the video and it explains everything you need to know.

We watched the video jst was baffled on which one it is we need. Cannot seem to see closeup the connection unless you already know and this is our first time ever doing this
Bob says its like a figure of 8 one loop part has 2 pins electircal conection. the other loop is a hole water goes through
Have a look at your pump that you have for your Caravan, take a look at the end that pushes into the Caravan. The connection you need will look the same. If in doubt take you pump to a Caravan Dealer and ask them what the make is. They will tell the make and may even sell them, if they could check their prices. Then look on the Floe website and see which one has the same name. The cheapest ones I have seen are on Ebay.
From what you have said it sounds like you have a Truma / Carver Crystal 2 pump.

Thank you very much. We hope to be over to the caravan tomorrow if all's well so we will be able to see it or even bring it home if in doubt.
Just seen on that Floe website link to click to see which one. It shows close up and Bob has just chosen the one you said Truma/Carver Crystal 2 is the same connection because of the little lookalike levers.

Glad to have been able to help. In my opinion this is why we join forums to help others and ask others for help.

hi corni, the use of anifreeze should be done with care, there should be no need to add it to the drains as its straight through and not held in a sump.i can see no reason why a little could not be added to your waste container (ask warden first).i asked thetford about adding antifreeze to the the flush header tank and got this reply.........
Thank you for your e-mail.
Any antifreeze used should be non acidic and non
corrosive. Generally any non toxic anti freeze that is mono propylene glycol
based should be ok. If using anti freeze please adhere to the manufacturers
instructions at all times.
Please
refer to your Thetford Users Manual with regards to using the toilet in the
winter. Please be aware that Thetford accept no responsibility for damage caused
by any anti freeze products.
Kind
regards,
Thetford Customer
Care.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Be careful as not all caravans have drain pipes that are straight through. A lot have loops in the pipes where they go around chassis members etc and therefore they can provide a trap for water that may freeze. Fortunately when it happened to me a few years back the pipe section simply separated and all I had to do was to fit them together once everything had thawed.
Thetford actually sell anti-freeze for toilets and waste tanks but I have only seen it in N America and N Europe. Probably not enough demand for it here.

Please see my thread I had posted earlier on this site as an alternative to the Floe system
Suggest you put little antifreeze in the water traps beneath the sinks and shower when system has been draine ddown to prevent water trapped in them freezing over winter
