Oh yes; Connie (Swift Conqueror)and friend's caravans bought and named about the same time, Alice (Swift Alouette) and June (Lunar Jupiter)

Aren't all old caravans called old fashioned female names! (They are all between 18 and 22 years old)

I would love to call my Globestar Gertie but if I ever attempt it the frowns and shriveller looks from my family stop me using the name again. Instead she has become "The caravan" with an upward smiling lilt in our voice at the end of the word caravan.

 

Note though despite not having a proper name I have managed to make her a girl 17

we love her anyway though

my OH has just suggested nameing our van 'the dog' 17 due to the fact that our tow car is an aging jag that I call 'the cat' 17

Mine has the same name as yours but doesn't even get the capital letters, and it's towed by the car and kept on the drive. I take it away with the wife and the kids.
