I notice that the OP states 12 outfits were present, yet the rally was limited to 18!

Of course it could be that the rally marshals just hadn't made best use of the space available.

TBH that is what we could see to count at a rough guess, but may have been more. Hopefully they enjoyed themselves in that crowded environment!

Don't let that put you off rallies - I've been to many, and never been crowded like that. However, all the ones I have been to have been in a proper rally field, not in a car park type space.

unfortunately you broke the law you can take photos on public land for your own personal use but as soon as you publish any photo you have to have a release form especially when the photo identifies number plates etc if I were you I would remove these photo's as soon as you can

We've never been on a rally, though oldham's pictures looked lovely.  But we've stayed on campsites that were even more crowded than the OP - Haller Camping in Budapest was the worst!

I am just wandering what the insurance companies would say if the unfortunate happened and there was a fire in a caravan which spread to others because of them being in such close proximity.  Would it invalidate the insurance? I feel sure it would.

As they are not breaking any law or condition I have in my insurance I can't see they could ultimately refuse to payout; however I don't doubt they would try hard until the claimant moved towards taking them to court.
