I should be ok this weekend 40 Litres of water under the foot of the fixed bed, just inboard of the water heater. aqua roll to fill the tank

we were at chester once and all the water pipes on the site froze up. we had to use thewater from the toilet block.

we used an old coat to lag our water barrel.and pump . worked ok

That's one of the problems of winter caravanning as some site owners seem to think that the taps on their sites won't freeze up. The sensible ones insulate the standpipes and the first few few feet into the ground. The cleaver ones put in trace heating around one of the standpipes so there is always one working. Frozen site showers and toilet blocks I can live with but I do need one working standpipe.
