rob and tina its not arrival or any of the caravan specific rescue bundles i was initially on about ,if its caravan rescue then lets face it your caravan is covered adequately .

my INITIAL POST   was re people like myself who have just got ordinary ,RAC.AA,GREEN-FLAG etc etc car recovery cover ,and in most instances you will find that these days in the case of a problem with your caravan or indeed trailer or folding camper ,they will not attend to help you ,even though whilst towing the trailer etc is part of your vehicle train .

and was basically a alert to read the small print or check by phone .a couple of years ago i/we would have been covered for a puncture ,but not now

Have spoken directly with the Green Flag breakdown control room this morning and they assure me that, yes , they will come out to repair/change a puncture on the caravan as long as it attached to the tow bar at the time

Just checked with my car breakdown Brittania Rescue and they will turn out for a caravan puncture as long as its towed. Been with them 22 years and always been ok

they may all cover you for a puncture but they certainly wont recover your van if its needs taking somewhere unless your towcar has broken down

Britannia Rescue took my van to a depot when I lost a wheel on it 2 years ago. They checked my car over and as I was OK to carry on they then brought my van to my house for me 2 days later.
I have been with them since 1980 and I have had nothing but superb service from them.
