as others say mix the two, my husband and I reacently did this to see my FIL, worked well, in some ways it worked better than travelling from southampton on a Friday night to Lincolnshire, to then reverse the journey on a sunday afteroon. Then it is as if we get no break, where as if we take time of work and take the van we get a break, plus time to ourselves plus time with the famil, a win win situation. Hubby would rather we do this when visit his mother than stay at hers as well!!

We are going to the sports ground? show ground? Something like that. There is a family celebration so unlike this weekend we planned properly and are getting a weekend in the van at the same time :-)

I am so glad we swapped from tents to the van, we are going to be able to use it in so many ways.

Another reason we should have brought the van this weekend is that we would have come round for dinner then gone back to the van and not ended up doing the washing up!!!!!!! DIL on nights so she went to work and I washed up and cleared the kitchen!!!!! Son? Disappeard to the small room with a magazine till it was all done!!!!! B
