yes, agree with the above. Could just be cold and moist as not been used for a while, but do check it regularly just in case.
Your shower will be properly sealed(?), so using it will not lead to damp. What you need to avoid is actual "water ingress", water penetrating the structure, usually from outside.
Using the van in a normal manner, including showering, will not be detrimental as long as things are properly sealed, just as in your home.
We have always used our own shower most of the time. Our previous van had the plastic covered wallboards, but the joints were well sealed, so no problems. Our current one has the one-piece walk-in shower, so even better.

I have these ' fixed items' to take off my payload. Air con 34kg, Battery 30kg, Spare wheel 14kg, Motor mover 55kg, Safe 11kg, total 144kg
Other stuff always taken in caravan.
Electric hook up 6.0 kg, Gas bottle 10kg, 2 Chairs 8.4 kg, Wastemaster 5.0 kg, Aquaroll 4.0 kg, TV 5.0 kg, Cutlery and drawer contents 3.0 kg, Pots pans plates cups glasses 8.0 kg, Fan heater 1.0 kg, Cushions, 1.0 kg, Memory foam toppers 6.0 kg, Bedding duvets sheets pillows 10.0 kg, Bowl, coffee tea, sugar, F liquid etc 2.0 kg, Food (light in weight) and in fridge 10.0 kg, Clothes in lockers and wardrobes 20.0 kg, Misc. caravan spare stuff, 3.0 kg, Step 7.0 kg, Ramps and chocks 2.0 kg Total 111.4 kg
144 plus 111 = 255kg
Amazing how it mounts up.
That only leaves me 99kg for other extras
354 kg payload.
I have not got a weigh bridge nearby so I assume first items come off the payload to be on the safe side.
