If you walk around a site when its windy. The only ones that arnt flapping and banging are the Isabellas. With the fibre poles and storm straps they are unmoveable. Like they say you get what you pay for.

------------- Roughing it in style at Calloose caravan and camping holiday park nr St Ives.(seasonal pitch)
Its not a hangover, its wine flu!
Some very good points. I had a Quest Blenheim awning with hook on corner straps. We used it a lot last year with no problems. Luckilly no very strong winds. It was not recommended for seasonal use. I have just bought a newer caravan and an Isabella forum awning in good condition came with it. I am considering a seasonal pitch in the near future as the awning is a huge. When we use the caravan for a few days I don't use the awning as I don't want to take such a large one down wet. I have been looking at all the advice as although I have had caravans and awnings for lots of years with no problems I have never used seasonal. I will want to make sure it or the caravan does not get damaged. I have bought two extra roof poles (now 7)It came with three long veranda poles. A hercules will be next to extra tension the poles and I will be putting the pole feet into the straps (never bothered before) I also inherited a long storm strap with three pads on it, two pegs and one spring. How should I use the strap? Isabella say not to use the pole spikes do I put the strap just behind the spikes on the outside with a pad each end and one in the middle? Should I use them inside?
