Yes you’re quite right andy 4x4 that’s exactly what I said. But there is no guarantee when the water board might decide to chlorinate their mains. In which case I could simply use the pump with its in line filter to make the tea and coffee. The 5lt carriers would still be used for washing up, the toilet flush, filling kettles to heat on the barbie, and cold water required in the bathroom. I also said the suggestion of a filter jug was fine but of no advantage to me as my van already has a dedicated filter.
