When we bought our van in April, the fixed singles were made up with colour coordinating fabrics. They had lovely throws and cushions on too. The lady we bought from, who we know well, is very particular and it looks great! We have flat sheets and duvets.
I am sure my little girl would love her princesses and my boy his dinosaurs but they just aren't going to match, lol!!!

Oh, I'm not the only one then...OH says I'm obsessive about everything matching and he's right. Even the tea towels and bath towels must match in our van, also the throws, cushions, everything in fact.
Got a lot of our stuff from Dunelm and the tea towels/towels from Asda - good quality for the price.

Great photos issym, loving the matching plates and mugs to And thanks again to all who posted. Its been nice to know i'm not the only crazy colour co-ordinating madam in the caravan world LOL. After all your ideas on places to look I've finally come upon a lovely Catherine Lansfield single duvet set x 2, so am going to give them a try and see what i think. There are so many lovely choices out there it really is hard to narrow it down. Will no doubt be purchasing another set, different design, for spare. Onto the tea towels and hand towels now haaaahaaaaaaa
We were originally mean't to pick up our caravan on the 23rd June (date has been moved around quite a bit due to clashes with the days/dates on the supplier side of things) so are now picking it up on the 19th June wooohoooo can't wait. Thanks again all
One more thing, we've noticed if the duvet covers are too silky they slip off you, im sure this wouldnt apply to island beds as the cover hangs over both sides, but our fixed bed is to one side and as there is no real over hang to wall side they tend to move off you and go to the hanging side, that might be the same with fixed singles against the wall,so we bought a heavier cotton duvet cover and it stays put and doesn't wander.
But most of all have fun, i loved buying all the complimenting matching stuff for ours x

Thanks, it's Joseph Joseph. Perfect for the van. We also have a chopping/carving board, double sided. It has a lip and slopes slightly away from you so no drips when prepping food or carving meat .

We only returned to caravanning because of the island bed. The main gripe previously was no overhang so DH used to manage to take all the duvet. I eventually resolved this by sewing a piece of material across the bottom of the duvet cover and tucking this under the bottom end of the mattress.

For the bunks I just cut a king size duvet in half to make two bunk duvets and ran up a seam on the cut side on my sewing machine. Then went to dunelm bought single duvets and trimmed them down too. Only took a couple of hours from start to finish

What a good idea my OH grabs it all and I'm left hugging the wall lol.

I was only able to afford it due to selling a tent!!!! But it is really good and great for the van. I just wish they'd do a round washing up bowl. Having a plug in the bowl would be great!
