bobmel's picture also confirms that it's not just freezing of the system that you need to worry about. Would you really want water of that colour sitting in the pipes waiting for the next time you use your van?
My old great gran used to say 'you are not grown up until you've eaten a peck of dirt'. For the younger members a peck is about 9 litres in volume.
On campsites most people seem less worried about the effects of alcohol on their bodies than a few bugs. Bugs are free but you pay tax to get ill on booze!

After a few conversations with Jason Paul who manufactures the Floe Device he sent me some replacement O rings to put on the inlet pipe and a thicker one to put in the middle of the device itself - HEY PRESTO pressure build up within seconds, I did stick some Jaffa tape on the side of the device to hold it on the inlet as the pressure build up was sufficient to blow it off. I got roughly 600ml out

we always open all our taps, valves and waste for the journey home from our last trip. this seems to work ok.
cannot understand how opening everything, going up hill and down dale and the force of the speed you are travelling pushing all the water back doesn't just empty everything.
We do that every time we leave the site, just incase we can't use the van again until after a cold spell.
Never had chance to get a summer trip in since we started caravanning 3 years ago
