Hi Philip22, i hope you like it as much as we have. We did not want to give up caravanning as we love it so much so it was our only option, the ease of arriving on a friday an be sorted within 10 mins is great! If i am working my wife can go on her own with the kids, we also find it so much more relaxing removing the stress of towing, setting up an packing up, sunday mornings are great when everyone is packing up to be off for 12 we are sat relaxing as dont tend to leave till nearer tea time.
Latest update we are off to look at some Twin Axles (Jan 2014) and buy it and put it in storage ready when the season starts
We also love caravaning but not if it making my husband ill and we thought we would give this a try . we are hoping it going to be less stressful arrive at the site and leave when we like (Thanks for the best wishes)
Regards

We are going seasonal hopefully with the Plassey next year. Still going to to tour to Cornwall and France but looking forward to lots more weekends and school hols away. Considering now if I will need a seasonal awning or make use of one of our current ones. At the Plassey you only leave your awning up in the fair weather season - just don't want to wreck my new Bradcot. Apart from that I'm probably just going to add an extra aqua roll.
Lovely site the plassey, we have friends who live nearby. We have a dorema awning which came with the caravan so was not new, had it up from April till end of October for last 3 seasons an its handled it fine. We awning has steel poles an we have purchsed some extra pole for added strength.

Good luck with your search, i am sure we will eventually change to a twin axle for the extra space, we were very tempted last year at the manchester show however decided to stick it out with our 1999 Abbey as she is still dry an costing us nothing other than a service an the pitch fee of course.
Hope you all enjoy your seasonals, i never want to come home on a Sunday!!
We been wanting a Twin Axle for quite a while at present I have seen a 2009 Elddis Super Cyclone 4b this has a L shape Lounge ,a Big Fridge Freezer , Twin Bunks, and a End Washroom , and it looks great . If you are happy with your 1999 Abbey Vogue and it still dry that is good . I hope you have some fantastic holidays next year ( Rob2011)
