this is what i mean about having the awning fully strapped down, the wind and snow combined on this pic did some real damage to other awnings as it was blowing directly onto the front of the awning.

What awning is yours? I like it...is it grey or blue it's difficult to tell on my screen.

I am quite persuaded by the eurovent Montreux as it's an all season awning that is designed specifically to be left up all year. The only problem is it's not very attractive and hubby doesn't like the look.

I looked into isabella as I've seen many I like the look of but the heavy duty ones are too wide for our pitch which can only have 2.5m max

mine is an outdoor revolution new bruswick, seasonal awning and its been absolutely brilliant, it really has taken some amazing weather and stands to fight another season, it should be black and grey, but mine is going grey due to the fact its a factory second.
in my opinion it has stood when isabellas have come down, but i think this is due to the care taken when putting up in the first place.
