Takes longer to peg the dam thing down, especially on hard standing, I was impressed with how the awning pumped up but you still have to thread it through the awning rail, which we struggled with( think it may need lubricant ) and we need to get some better rock pegs ,they kept bending and the plastic heads broke off.
To be fair the only awnings we have put up before were on our folding camper, on grass pitches, maybe we will stick to a grass pitch in future.
Good luck with yours
The Rally pro 390 only takes about 20-25 mins to put up. It's a great awning. The air awnings are good but still have to be pegged out

Hi All, maybe a bit late with this but just to add we have had our 260 as long as anyone I would suggest. Put £50 deposit down on one when we first saw it demonstrated at the Lawns Exhibition near Hull in September 2012 and duly received it as promised in March 2013 from the supplier "Cattric Caravans".
So 15 months on 12 trips away varying from 2 nights to 10 nights and nothing but praise for it. First night could not have been worse, severe gales at an exposed site outside York.
We initially bought it to ue instead of the full awing on anyhting less than 4 nights away. We now use it all the time and full awnig has not seen the outside of the shed this year. We are now going to invest in a 390 for use on the longer trips.
We have the 390 pump up in max 3 mins then peg out say 5 mins that's it . Great bit of kit the fabric and zips are very high quality now used for 4 trips and very pleased.
Hi, We have just bought the Sunn Camp Airvolution 280 air awning, took it out last weekend and it was brilliant. There is a pump supplied with it and a fool proof pressure gauge. No problems with it whatsoever. We had an audience putting up which was our first time and it went like a dream. Our neighbours were well impressed. The most important thing was, we didnt have an argument! Bliss! Highly reccomended!
Rally air pro 390 used 5 times and is excellent. You still have to peg down so no time saved there BUT no poles to cause damage and it is so stable we have never had to use the front guy ropes just peg the bottom as you would a conventional full awning. It's great to be able to deflate the awning without the hassle of hanging onto poles etc. great quality but like all awnings it gets quicker and easier to use the more times you erect Pete
A neighbour at our seasonal site has just got one of these, looks very nice. I was explaining to the wife how it works, being inflated with air and no metal poles. " yes, but what happens when you open the door and let the air out." was her reply!!!
We've used ours twice now , pumped up and pegged down in less than half hour, however we have somehow managed to damage the plastic windows when packing the awning away( small tear holes ) we think from the hard standing pitch ,even thou we had our ground sheet down to protect the awning.DAM
We have a Kampa air 390 , used it on our 6 week long holiday last year , in which we stayed at 5 different sites . A waning was up and down without any arguments . I would say to but the a waning up without pegging (that takes as long as it takes as every awning needs pegged out) around 15 mins . Simple to take down in high wind (no chance of being blown away like Mary poppins). I would say also it's easy and quick enough to put up for a weekend.
