Only use i when theres a power cut, or when the site trips out, & thats only when its very busy and cold thats when everyone is hammering it.

We have managed longer than 2 weeks holiday without EHU. We have a solar panel which we put on the roof. The TV is a 12 volt and 240watt, the fridge works on gas.The fire works on gas and we have 12 volt plugs with a car socket on to charge phones laptops etc. As long as you don't drain the battery and let the solar panel do its work during the day we haven't had a problem. The cooker is gas of cause and we carry 2 kettles, one for gas and the other is electric. The lights are mostly dual purpose. The best part is you save quite a lot of money.
